My name is Cynthia Fox and I am currently working as an Art Therapist with a Limited Permit as I gain my hours for full licensure!
I have experience doing individual, couples, and group sessions for individuals ranging from ages 4 to 96. I have done further work with individuals on the ASD spectrum, with traumatic brain injuries, and even worked at Jewish Home of Rochester with people in all stages of assisted living. I aim to specialize in working with teens and adults within the LGBTQ+ community as well as with couples, family duos or those who practice polyamory and other non-traditional relationship styles.
I graduated with my bachelor's of Studio Art with minors in Business and Materials Technology in 2020, just graduated with my Master’s of Science in Creative Arts Therapy, and have been doing fiber arts since I was a child. I am always looking for more art skills to acquire and I believe that every person can find benefits through art-making; it's just a matter of finding the right medium!
Three fun facts about Cynthia:
-Learned to crochet at 5 years old!
-Learning to sew her own clothes, and wants to replace her wardrobe with all handmade clothing!
-Knows the steps to building a house, and hopes to one day build a home to live in!
